Introduction:
The International Patient Summary was developed to standardise patient data, enabling healthcare professionals across regional, interstate and many countries to assist with swift analysis and diagnosis, irrespective of the patient’s origin.
We have adopted the functionality and format to enhance the benefits for those Navigator users who actively manage their profiles.
The data that is presented in this summary are taken from the contents of your medical diary and baseline data and normalised to requirements.
We approach this a little differently as we see our users as “citizens” and not patients so in some respects we are on “the other side of the fence” where hopefully you will spend most of your life. However, if in the eventuality that healthcare is required, we can provide a real-time dataset of your current health – a Personal Health Summary – in a format that is recognised across borders to enhance a diagnosis.
We believe that within the next 5 to 7 years, this type of summary will be integrated with health professional content to infinitely improve the ability for accurate prognoses that will come from advancements in generative techniques and artificial intelligence.
